After many years of proven record as an engineer and a trainer in international technical companies and educational systems, teacher for adults and children, Technical Editor, author, department or project manager or coach I decided to offer my knowledge, experience and creativity as a freelancer in the market and established the company “Goal-Electronic Print Media & Training Services” in Cologne.
Regarding my studies, I am a “Doctor in Philosophie (Dr. phil.), Master of Science in Information Engineering (M.Sc.)” and “Telecommunication Engineer (Dipl.-Ing. für Nachrichtentechnik)”. In my career, I had the opportunity of gathering experiences in many fields in a number of technical companies, as well as in educational and scientific centers and also non-profit organizations.
Running my own firm as a freelancer for more than 20 years and being the managing director of two transportation firms for more than 10 years have proved and strengthened my management ability.
Moreover I have been able to practice meanwhile the professionalism and flexibility of teaching, the expertise and the autonomy in the creation of a documentation, the expertise in running projects and managing departments, the professionalism by creating an access database and respective data processing, the acquisition of the complete administrative work through our virtual office as well as the skill of creating a website. My long standing social commitments has also strengthened my project management capability.
Teaching and mentoring have always been my fields of interest. Carrying out lectures on feminist and technical themes in educational centers,for instance at the “FOM University of Economics and Management Cologne”, MINT Summer University of the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Human Sciences at the University of Cologne or at the “Women Welcome Week of the University of Koblenz-Landau” are some respective examples. Professional organization of corporate training, e.g. as the manager of Documentation and Training Department of the international telecommunication company TelesensKSCL, organising the tightly arranged courses for individuals, groups and clubs e.g. the Go Digital course of the Karl Arnold foundation and the club Human Rights in 21st Century, mentoring a mentee e.g. by the project Mentegra of the Compententia Regional Cologne, Competence Center Women and Work of the City of Cologne, compiling relevant training materials are other aspects of my training offer in the market. Further we offer workshops and personalized in-house consulting tailored to our customers´ needs and requirements.
In 2010 our company received a grant from the Ministry of Research and Higher Education in North Rhein-Westphalia for providing career opportunities and improving employability in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Being involved in financial procedures of the above mentioned 3 firms also expanded my knowledge in economical sphere. Regarding my technical background we generated then an accounting database, which we have implemented successfully by the customers of GOAL-EPMTS since 12 years ago. This SW can be used variously, from the collection and archiving of the relevant documents to the monitoring of payment dues up to the creation of statistics. We would like to offer our customers either our SW or we they can outsource their preparatory accounting and let´s handle it.
Writing has always been one of my hobbies. But I chose a thesis topic to write a Technical Documentation by my first studies at the University of Applied Sciences Cologne. Being the manager of Documentation and Training Department of an international Telecommunication firm and writing and releasing many technical books, brochures and leaflets in printed or electronic forms as well as publishing many books and articles in feminist, technical or sociological themes in different languages, have also enhanced my experience in documentation. Our customers can obtain high quality and cost efficient manuals, whitepapers, brochures, templates and as well as professional leaflets as well as individual and competent support.
My multilingualism and in particular my long-term contact with the English language, technical English and scientific texts complement my whole abilities.
